Multi-page PDFs are supported, and each page is billed individually. With AI document processing, Pulse accepts any non-binary file that contains readable text, including PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, and CSV.

Yes. Forward invoices, receipts, and statements to your Pulse inbox yourself, or set your email program (Gmail included) to forward them automatically. Email rules match on the sender, the recipient, and the subject line, and each rule picks the template to use, so every vendor's documents are read the right way. Pulse reads the attachments — PDFs, images, spreadsheets, and XML files — or the email itself, depending on the template, and only processes mail from addresses confirmed for your account.

Yes. Open Pulse in your phone's browser and use Capture a Picture to scan a document with the camera — there's no separate app to install. On-screen guides help you line up the shot, long receipts can be captured section by section or in one smooth swipe down the page, and you can retake any page before it's processed.

With AI prompt extraction, Pulse can split a multi-page upload into separate records. By default it works out where each document starts and ends on its own. You can also make every page its own record, or keep the whole file together as one record. Each page is billed at the usual $0.25.

Document storage is completely optional — you only pay for it if you choose to keep copies of your documents in Pulse. Extraction works independently, so you receive your data whether or not you store the original. Storage is billed at $0.01 per MB per month. A typical scanned page is 100–500 KB, so 1,000 pages costs roughly $1–$5 a month, and you can delete stored documents at any time.
